The QBJJC Townsville Championship runs on Sunday 25 October at the Townsville Sports Precinct, 24 Burke St, North Ward.
We expect a small team heading down, and there is still time to be part of it.

Early bird pricing closes on 7 October. Normal registration runs after that, with a short late window right before the event — so the longer you leave it, the more it costs.
The thing that catches people out is the membership, not the entry. Every QBJJC competition requires a valid AFBJJ membership, and that has to be approved before your event registration can go through. Approval can take up to 48 hours. If you sort the membership the night before entries close, you will miss the event — every year somebody does.
So: membership first, entry second, and do both this week rather than the week of the deadline.
Not competing?
Come and watch. Townsville is a three-hour drive, and it is a good day out watching people you train with compete. Our Muay Thai coach James Richardson is also fighting in Townsville on 10 October, so that is two trips down the Bruce Highway this month if you fancy both.
