The 2026 FNQ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships, proudly presented by Butcher Crowd, will be held on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at The M A Connection. The championships will welcome junior and adult competitors from academies throughout Far North Queensland and beyond, with divisions available in both Gi and No-Gi.
The event will be conducted under IBJJF rules and will use a Round Robin Pool Format, giving competitors multiple matches in divisions of up to five athletes.
Match of the Day Cash Awards
Thanks to the support of Butcher Crowd, cash prizes will be awarded for the most exciting matches of the day:
Best Adult Match
$250 per athlete
Best Kids Match
$250 per athlete
$500 awarded for each winning match and $1,000 in total prize money across the two awards.

Registrations must be completed before the closing date. No registrations will be accepted on the day.
Competitors entering both Gi and No-Gi may receive up to eight matches, depending on the size of their divisions.
